iPod Shrine Contest
Gizmodo is running a contest to see who can make the best iPod shrine, and they're letting you vote for it. All of them are losers in my book.
They also seem to get annoyed by people complaining about all the iPod accessories they make posts about on their site. My opinion is that there's only so many cases and speaker docks for the iPod that people can be interested in. I think it might be a sign that the iPod boom is reaching critical mass.
Another case (more of an annoyance really) that may support this is that the Sharper Image's holiday catalog for this year has 14 pages devoted to crap for the iPod. Sure, all their stuff is extremely overpriced, but at least the things they used to "invent" were novel and somewhat interesting, like a meat grinder/rug or an electric nosehair-remover/toaster. Now they have 11 different speaker docks for the iPod, which is rather pathetic and unoriginal.

Good call with the sharper image. Maybe it's just a little fad-phase they're going through, and someday they may see the light as you and I have, my friend.

you like the movie "Minority Project"? Are you serious? That movie sucks more than ipods. Don't get me wrong, ipods suck, and so does the movie, "Minority Report."
I linked to your blog from my blog, I thought you should know. If I had noticed your profile that says you love the movie Minority Report BEFORE I linked, I might not have linked after all. That's my honest opinion.
Anyways! IRREGARDLESS, I linked to you BECAUSE I was looking for sites the other day, that were about how much Apples are actually lame, instead of notlame like so many websites these days would have you believe.
Ever since I first tried to use an apple macintosh, i've hated them. i had an imac for a while, and a friend now has an emac, but i'm sorry, but YOU SUCK FOR HAVING A MAC. Not you, but people in general. i hate your apple computer. Not as much as I hate microsoft, but still. I mean, don't get me wrong, apple sucks, just more than microsoft. (is it not true that microsoft owns a huge portion like over 50% of apple?)
I wish I had purchased AAPL back when the idea first struck me. that would be sweet.

Some of the time I like the Mac OS because it shows that a lot of thought was put into making it as intuitive as possible. Also Apple's laptop design is fantastic. What I don't like is that Steve Jobs is a major dick and I have a problem spending a lot of money (another Apple downside: price) that will end up in his company's coffers... though I suppose I've gone to see Pixar movies... Dammit.
I hate the iPod because people treat it like it's the freaking second coming of Christ. I like Minority Report because I think it's been put together well and to me it's an enjoyable cinematic experience. If my taste in movies is that big of a problem for you, I'm sorry (not really).
I also hate assholes who say "irregardless" because that word doesn't make any sense. Like the phrase "I could care less".
